I'm new to the board, having been shown the light by Bartman! I met some of you during Bike Week at the Hidden Treasures RTE. I've enjoyed many of your postings and the wealth of information you possess. I'm located in Jacksonville. Hey Colton! Glad you're here! Welcome. While this board is a little "slower" than others, we're a good group. Hopefully as more and more of you join, traffic will gradually increase.

Well, Thanks fellas,... We are here in Live Oak, Fl for another couple of weeks before heading up to our daughter's near Atlanta for about 10 days, then heading home to Michigan. (if for sure all that snow is gone) Not sure what part of Atlanta you visit, but I go up to ATL fairly regularly, to the Roswell/Alpharetta area. I don't know if you ever get up the the N.Ga. mountains, but there is some very fine riding up there. If you haven't been on Route 60, go ride it up to McCaysville and back. Have lunch up there. There are several good restaurants. You won't be disappointed. If you're up for going a little further, go all the way to Tellico Plains and have lunch at the bakery! Heaven! NOTE: The links in this post are routes on Google Maps. Wow, time to revive this thread a little... Bart, technically, our daughter lives in Suwanee but I think she's closer to Cumming. Just south of where hwy 20 crosses the Chattahoochee. We usually visit her and family on the way to/from Florida. Our son-in-law has a bike so when we're there I have become very familiar to the roads you supplied links to. We will be in north Tampa for Jan and Feb and Bonifay during March. Looking forward to seeing a little more if the Gulf side this year. I hope to cross paths with some of the fine folks on this board winter. Can you say the word "Winter" in Florida? BTW, is there a way to get email notifications to new posts on this board?
