I believe that a low blinker fluid level results in delayed blinker actuation. This must be the cause for cars to cross four lanes of traffic into a turn-only lane, set through a light, then the blinkers actuate after the turn has started. Yep, this must be the reason.

Ah....this is why people don't use their blinkers. No fluid.

Can someone tell me where the blinker fluid reservoir is? I've spent the last 3 hours looking for it and can't find it.

FredH , will you make a video on how to change the blinker fluid when you find it?

I've heard that Honda spec blinker fluid, but it was expensive. Can I use Blink Brand Blinker Fluid instead?

I've heard that Honda spec blinker fluid, but it was expensive. Can I use Blink Brand Blinker Fluid instead? You can use diesel truck or marine fluid as long as it doesn't have friction inhibitors in it.

How can I tell the difference? They ask look the same to me. Look for "energy conserving" on the label, or if in an unlabeled container, pour some out. The automotive type will ball up like mercury but the kind we need will spread. The automotive with friction modifiers will make your signals flash too fast, and cancel too soon. Has also been suspected of causing the remote start to not function. BTW, if you have the "Full Monty" from Traxxion, they installed a special race-proven fluid that will need changed when your forks are serviced. I believe Lewis carries the correct fluids, but his web site is hard to navigate to that section.

Just an FYI, I had the brake recall done this week, and Honda of Knoxville said they replaced and flushed the blinker fluid as part of the process using Honda blinker fluid.

Did they show you the empty container? Actually, theirs is in a 35 gallon drum!

Just an FYI, I had the brake recall done this week, and Honda of Knoxville said they replaced and flushed the blinker fluid as part of the process using Honda blinker fluid. I had the recall done on mine while I was in Knoxville, at the end of May. Glad I made the decision to get it done there. In and out in about 2.5 hours. They didn't say anything about changing my blinker fluid. Should I call them and double-check? Should I be concerned? Should I stop riding the bike all together until I confirm whether my blinker fluid was changed? Should I attempt to change it myself? Do I need a 35 gallon drum of this stuff? Is it necessary to change it/top it off that often? In 120,000+ miles so far, I have only thought about changing the blinker fluid. Is that good enough or do I really have to go through all the steps to change it? What to do...what to do...
