Guy just gave me a Harbor tire changer going to mod it so I can hold it in place with the trailer hitch on the jeep. What type tire irons do I need to be able to mount a battlax front tire and the best place to get the needed tire irons

Tire irons will scratch up the soft aluminum rim quick. I use a MoJo lever and works well for me on both front and rear tires. It has hard nylon tips on it to keep from scratching up the rims. There is a learning curve to find the best angle to use for removing and mounting the tire. Also, Mojo Blocks on the HF changer will help holding the tire in place. A short nylon strap around the rim spoke and changer arm will keep the rim from sliding around. A good lube is also needed. Nomar make a really good lube that last forever as it only takes a litlle to get it going.

Snoopy, don't know if the new adapter will work. But I will say you might want to reconsider using the trailer hitch mount on the jeep. reason being I've seen sometimes a pry bar popping up, and wouldn't want you to take out the rear jeep window. Also, you really restrict the walk-around room you need while twisting the mojo lever.
