I'll be happy to post first in this area of the board. I recently purchased a 1975 GL100. As a bonus, it came with a side car. It's proven VERY popular with the grand kids.

That's gorgeous, Bob! I have a '78 frame and '75 engine in the garage as a "project". Found that the engine had been half-submerged for quite some time, so I've named her "the Hunley". Maybe in a year or so...

Bought mine this way, Nathan, from a guy in Clinton.
I may need to pick your brain on how to keep her clean. I've seen your pics of your restoration project. Looks like you have real talent!
Fix safely.

Tomorrow, this beauty is gonna hit the road......well, sorta.
One of my grandsons is having a birthday on November 11 (yeah, Veterans Day!!). His party is tomorrow at our casa.
The '75 Wing with sidecar is set to be the feature attraction........rides for all comers down our taxiway!
Hopefully will post pics. (Can't help but think of the pics 211Chuck posted of him giving rides to neighborhood kids. He was a strange character, but those pics upped my impression of the man).
Stay tuned.

hi, don't see any pic's of the rig,i am a long time sidecarist(hacker), since 1967 I've always had at least one hack in the stable, if ya ever need any question about hacks or their set up answered, please let me know, there is a really neat new video that became available a couple weeks ago,Sit Stay Ride: The Story of America's Sidecar Dogs, really, really neat, if ya don't have a dog, don't watch it or you will(no smiley,a LOL will have to do. I can't tell ya how much those kids will love it,every kid in my area are well versed on how to be a "proper monkey". good luck with your new toy, just remember to take those right handers slow until ya get the hang of it or you will find out what "flying the chair means".
p.s. I haven't forgot the square 4 pics, just need to get son over here to put them on here
